Genç LGBTİ+ Association (İzmir) has announced the dates of the LGBTI+ Youth Festival, organized for the 5th time. 
The 5th LGBTI+ Youth Festival, which was organized for the first time in 2017 by the Genç LGBTİ+ Association, meets you online from 31 May to 6 June with the theme “THE RAINBOW DOESN’T RECOGNIZE BANS”.
The GENÇ LGBTİ+ Association made its call as the following:
The LGBTI+ Youth Festival is coming to wave the rainbow flag for the 5th time.
We are preparing to meet you once again on the days we had to be locked in our homes for over a year, where we had to be away from each other but were always under the same rainbow.
We are coming to shout that the rainbow doesn’t recognize bans on the days where the rainbow flag was tried to be banned, our existence was wanted to be ignored, our identities were tried to be criminalized and our legal rights were tried to be taken away from us.
We are everywhere even if all our spaces are attacked. Whether you try not to look or ignore it, we are here. In our homes, in the streets, factories, universities, protests, online parties, live streams, social media, telephones, computers; we are everywhere, and we will continue to exist.
This year, the LGBTI+ Youth Festival, is coming to your homes online for the 2nd time. Photography, cinema, literature, dance, fun, jokes and madness will overflow from your screens. We will celebrate the arrival of pride month between 31 May and 6 June with the LGBTI+ Youth Festival and we will shout #THERAINBOWDOESNTRECOGNIZEBANS.
