As the MEFLGBTQ+ Club, we are pleased to announce our closing event as we approach the end of the term. All of you are invited to our event called “Attitudes and Behaviors Against LGBTQ+s in Turkey”, where we will take the microphone in our hands, while attention has been drawn to LGBTQ+s lately in our journey on awareness and equality! We will look at LGBTQ + from the perspective of social psychology, with the participation of our esteemed Social Psychologist Ayça Aksu and activist Soner Gür, an academician from the Psychology Department of our school, talk about the effects of Turkish culture on attitudes towards LGBTQ + and review topics such as homophobia, heteronormativity and stereotypes.
