Aydın LGBTI+ Solidarity has issued a statement regarding the fires in many places.

We are sorry for the fires that took place in many parts of Turkey. We convey our best wishes to those affected by the fire and express our condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives.
These catastrophic accidents that destroy our nature, forests, lives and habitats must be prevented immediately! We request that all necessary precautions be taken. For this, areas where fires occur should be declared disaster areas immediately. In addition, many animals that people consider as their own property and imprisoned in their gardens and barns have died. Untie the bonds of these souls that may be exposed to this disaster while in a captive state, ensure their safety if you can. Do not leave them to die!
